Out of Muniz's work, this creation is one of my favorites. This depicts a man, deeply disappointed or sad. Even though the content of the picture displayed is saddening, what it is made out of is somewhat uplifting. The image seems to be made out of various toys which create a rainbow of color variety. This brings both humor and confusion to the work. The humor comes from the irony of the content and medium. The confusion as well comes from the irony, what was Muniz trying to say about what is depicted in the picture?

I also like this work of Muniz. The picture it depicts it quite terrifying. It seems to be a picture of Medusa which is a mythological monster created by the Greeks. This too displays the same humorous irony of the rest of Muniz's work. What is being displayed is monster like and scary, but the medium it is made out could have been what you ate only hours ago. Muniz's work uses a type of humor based upon something almost all humans can relate too. This greatly adds to the response and respect Muniz gets from his viewers
